Use for solar observation only as an additional filter! If you need to dampen radiation and want to set a filter long before the focus (eg in front of a binocular), then Neutral density filters are just the thing for you. Due to the fine optical polish our filter has no loss of sharpness at high magnifications determined, even on a filter position 20 – or 30 cm before the focal point. The plane glass is always threaded in the 1¼” screw-threaded socket, it can therefore be combined with any 1¼” filter (also 1¼” color filter).
