Fits 1¼ or 2″ eyepieces/threads and is screwed before the eyepiece
Adjustable brightness when used with a Baader Hershel Wedge
Important Note: Polarizer will need additional filtering (eg Herschel Prism or AstroSolar Safety Film) before the eyepiece of the telescope for solar observations.

Product Description

IMPORTANT NOTE

For solar observation, together with a Herschel prism, you do not need a double pole filter. The light of the sun reflected from the Herschel prism is already partially polarized. Please order if necessary the single polarizing filter. When used with an Astro Solar film on the other hand you need a double pole filter to continuously further reduce the unpolarized sunlight.

Important: For solar observations use Polarizer Filter ONLY as an ADDITIONAL FILTER – eg to be used together with our Herschel prism or the Astro Solar film OD 5!
